Care &
Maintenance
Proper care ensures your bespoke suit remains impeccable for decades. A well-maintained canvas suit lasts a lifetime — a neglected one does not.
Air After Wearing
Hang your suit in a well-ventilated area for 24 hours before returning it to the wardrobe. This allows the fibres to breathe and recover their shape.
Spot Clean Only
Address stains immediately with a damp cloth. Never rub — blot gently from the outside in. For stubborn stains, consult a professional dry cleaner.
Dry Clean Sparingly
Dry clean only when necessary — typically 2–3 times per year for regular wear. Excessive dry cleaning degrades the canvas and fabric over time.
Proper Storage
Use wide wooden hangers and breathable garment bags. Avoid plastic covers which trap moisture. Cedar blocks deter moths naturally.
Fabric-Specific Care
Wool
- Dry clean 2–3 times per year
- Steam to remove wrinkles — never iron directly
- Store with cedar blocks to prevent moths
- Brush with a soft clothes brush after wearing
Silk & Blends
- Dry clean only — never machine wash
- Store flat or on padded hangers
- Keep away from direct sunlight to prevent fading
- Handle with care — silk is delicate when wet
Linen
- Embrace natural wrinkles — they are part of the character
- Dry clean or gentle hand wash in cool water
- Iron on high heat while slightly damp
- Avoid over-pressing — linen should look relaxed
Cashmere
- Dry clean only for structured garments
- Air regularly — cashmere rarely needs cleaning
- Store folded, never hung — it stretches
- Use a cashmere comb to remove pilling
Lifetime Structural Warranty
All structural repairs — seams, canvas, buttons, lining — are covered for the lifetime of the garment. Minor alterations are complimentary for the first year.
